Sometimes the best moments of summer are the ones that happen around a story. A book passed back and forth on the couch. A question that lingers over dinner. A conversation that wouldn’t have happened without the characters on the page.

Wander and Wonder is a five-week summer curriculum designed to help families connect through books. It’s built around a simple idea: when we make time for stories, we make space for connection, curiosity, and joy.

You don’t need a background in teaching or a shelf full of supplies. You just need a good story and the willingness to follow where it leads.

Pathway One: Little Voyagers (Ages 4–8)

This pathway features five picture books and fits easily into daily life. Each week includes creative hands-on play, a recipe and simple project, dinner table conversation starters, printable drawing and narration prompts, and a parent guide to support you along the way.

The narration element is inspired by a gentle, story-centered approach that values reflection, imagination, and the power of telling a story in your own words.

Pathway Two: The Adventures of a Girl Named Bicycle (Ages 8–12)

This track follows Bicycle, a determined twelve-year-old on a cross-country ride to find a real friend. It’s funny, thoughtful, and full of heart—the kind of story that opens the door to all sorts of conversations.

Each week includes a guided reading plan, recipes inspired by the book, creative activities, conversation prompts, journal pages, and two companion podcast episodes.
